TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR THE HIRE OF TEREZA JOANNE

• A non-refundable deposit of 25% or £200 (minimum) of the venue hire charge is required to book the venue.  When making your booking please ensure that you have allowed sufficient time for preparation and clearance of equipment.
• The balance including equipment/kitchen hire must be paid seven days before the event.
• The premises may only be hired for the purpose stated on the booking form.  The hirer shall not sub-let or remove any equipment or furniture from the boat.
• The maximum permitted capacity is 200 for any function.  When seats are used for concerts, meetings or entertainment, gangways and passages (not less than 4feet in width), must be kept clear of obstructions.
• The venue is fitted with a sound limiter.
• The hirer must be conversant with the location of first aid and fire fighting equipment, and procedures for emergency evacuation of the premises.
• The provision of door stewards (SIA registered) is also the responsibility of the hirer. Ticket events must have door stewards.
• When children are present at functions their parents or guardians are required to ensure that the behaviour of the children is kept within reasonable limits.  Due care and diligence must be shown around the water areas. Parents/guardians with children that fail to comply will be told to leave.
• In line with legislation the Tereza Joanne has adopted the “Challenge 21 Policy” Everyone who attempts to buy alcohol but appears to be under 21 will be asked for ID.
• No person who is intoxicated is to be admitted and anyone in an intoxicated condition is to be ejected.
• No party poppers, streamers, confetti or chewing gum is allowed on the premises.
• A damage deposit/bond is to be made on all bookings that will be returned if the premises are left in a satisfactory condition, all refuse is cleared and the boat vacated at the correct time. (Finish Time).  Failure to comply will forfeit your bond. (Please allow yourselves sufficient time when booking). 
• The kitchen must be left clean and tidy (as you found it) with all refuse bagged and binned, and completely cleared of all your belongings.  In addition, refuse from all other areas of the venue must be bagged and binned before leaving, together with all tabletops completely cleared.
• Vehicles parked in the car park must not obstruct any doorways or emergency exits and are left there at the owners’ risk.
• The management require that for weddings etc, two people represent the hirer for liaison on the day.
• The Tereza Joanne may cancel your booking with immediate effect and without liability in circumstances outside our reasonable control.  These may include, although not exclusively, Act of God, fire, flood etc.
• If you wish to cancel your booking after confirmation we would require written notification.  Any deposits paid will be forfeited and a cancellation charge shall be applied to any outstanding balance as detailed below.
